The 3M Filtek Z250 XT Syringe Restorative Kit provides a light-cured nanohybrid composite restorative material designed for versatile application in modern dentistry. This material is indicated for a broad range of restorative procedures, including direct anterior and posterior restorations (Class I-V), core build-ups, splinting procedures, and indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays, and veneers.

The Filtek Z250 XT restorative material is delivered via a syringe system, offering excellent handling characteristics for dental professionals. It is formulated to be non-sticky and easy to sculpt, maintaining its shape without slumping prior to light activation, which facilitates precise placement and contouring during the restoration process.

This light-activated composite provides an unlimited working time before light activation, allowing for flexible clinical workflows. Once placed, the material can be light-cured, with recommended curing times of approximately 10-20 seconds per increment, typically for increments up to 2.5 mm for shades such as A1, A2, and A3. The 3M Filtek Z250 XT restorative is substantially equivalent to legally marketed predicate devices under FDA regulations, ensuring compliance with general controls provisions of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, including good manufacturing practice requirements (21 CFR Part 820).
