The 3M Transbond XT Light Cure Orthodontic Bracket Adhesive is a light-cure adhesive designed for the direct bonding of metal and ceramic orthodontic brackets to tooth surfaces. This adhesive is supplied as a “Syringe Refill Pack of 4”, offering a convenient delivery system for orthodontic professionals.

Composed of bisphenylglycidyl dimethacrylate (BisGMA) as a monomer, triethyleneglycol dimethacrylate (TEGDMA) as a co-monomer, and silanized barium borosilicate glass as a filler, this resin-based material is formulated for reliable orthodontic bonding. The product complies with the United States Food Allergy Labeling and Consumer Protection Act of 2004 and EU Regulation 1169/2011, as it contains no intentionally added common food allergens.

Transbond XT Light Cure Orthodontic Bracket Adhesive utilizes light-cure technology, providing extended working time for precise bracket placement and quick curing to enable immediate archwire tie-in. Its viscosity is engineered to prevent adhesive run-on and bracket skating, which aids in accurate bracket positioning and reduces material waste.
