This set employs the preferential looking principle, where an examiner observes a patient’s involuntary eye movements to determine their visual acuity.

The Cardiff Acuity Card Set features laminated cards that are digitally printed for enhanced accuracy and durability. The cards are litho printed on paper and mounted on a plastic substrate, with a color-coated surface.
