The 3M Filtek Bulk Fill Posterior Packable Composite Resin is a visible, light-activated restorative composite engineered for efficient posterior dental restorations. This material allows for one-step bulk placement up to 5mm, eliminating the need for incremental layering and an additional capping layer.

This composite resin incorporates TRUE nanofiller technology and innovative methacrylate monomers, which work in combination to lower polymerization stress while maintaining wear resistance. The formulation includes AUDMA, UDMA, and 1,12-dodecane-DMA monomers, alongside a robust nanofiller system comprising silica, zirconia, and ytterbium trifluoride.

The “Refill Syringe A2” is indicated for a wide range of applications, including direct anterior and posterior restorations (encompassing occlusal surfaces), as well as serving as a base or liner under direct restorations. Its versatility extends to core build-ups, splinting, indirect restorations such as inlays, onlays, and veneers, and the repair of defects in porcelain restorations, enamel, and temporaries.
